Terms of Service
Effective Date: September 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
Welcome to calregional.com. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the CALRegional website and any related pages, forms, and online tools (together, the “Site”).
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
The Site is operated by Adventus Education LLC, a California limited liability company (“CALRegional,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). CALRegional administers healthcare training programs in California and Texas, delivered through partner schools and, in certain locations, at CALRegional Training Institute.
2. Who May Use the Site
You may use the Site if you are 18 or older. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, and that parent or guardian accepts these Terms on your behalf.
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
You may also need to meet separate age or eligibility requirements to enroll in a program. Those requirements are set out in the enrollment materials for each program, not in these Terms.
3. These Terms Are Not Your Enrollment Agreement
These Terms cover your use of the Site only. They do not govern enrollment in any program.
If you enroll in a program administered by CALRegional, your enrollment is governed by a separate written enrollment agreement between you and CALRegional. That agreement controls all matters relating to tuition, refunds, program completion, externship placement, certification, cancellation, and your rights as a student.
If anything in these Terms conflicts with your enrollment agreement, the enrollment agreement controls.
4. Program Information on the Site
We work to keep program details accurate, including schedules, locations, pricing, and program length. Even so, this information can change.
Program availability varies by location and by partner school. Course schedules, start dates, tuition, and program offerings are subject to change without notice. Information on the Site is for general informational purposes and does not constitute an offer, a guarantee of enrollment, or a guarantee that a specific program will be available at a specific location or price.
Certain program claims and guarantees described on the Site apply only in specific states or to specific programs. Where the Site states that a claim is limited by state or program, that limitation applies.
Before you enroll, confirm current details with a CALRegional representative or at an info session. Enrollment terms are set in your enrollment agreement.
5. No Guarantee of Employment, Certification, or Outcomes
Completing a program does not guarantee employment, a particular wage, certification, licensure, or passage of any certification or licensing examination.
Certification and licensing are administered by third-party agencies and boards with their own requirements, fees, and standards. Eligibility can depend on factors outside our control, including background checks, immunization records, and individual examination performance.
Statistics on the Site describing student outcomes, completion rates, or the number of students served describe past results across the programs CALRegional administers. They are not a prediction or promise of your individual results.
6. Where Programs Are Delivered
Programs are delivered in two ways.
CALRegional Training Institute. In certain locations, programs are delivered at the CALRegional Training Institute, which is operated by CALRegional. Where you attend a program at CALRegional Training Institute, the policies of that location and your enrollment agreement govern your attendance.
Partner schools and externship sites. In other locations, programs are administered by CALRegional and delivered locally by partner schools. Some programs also include externship or clinical placements at healthcare facilities operated by third parties.
Partner schools and externship sites are independent organizations. They set their own policies for their facilities, admissions processes, and campus conduct. Except as expressly stated in your enrollment agreement, we are not responsible for their conduct, their policies, or the condition of their premises.
Program availability, delivery location, and whether a program is offered at CALRegional Training Institute or through a partner school vary by location and are subject to change. Confirm the delivery location for a specific program before you enroll.
7. Communications and Electronic Consent
When you submit a form on the Site, you agree that we may contact you about your inquiry by email, phone, and text message.
Text messages. If you check the box consenting to receive text messages, you consent to receive marketing and support messages from CALRegional via SMS and MMS, including through automated technology. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrollment or of purchasing anything from us.
You can opt out at any time. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or reply HELP for assistance. We also honor opt-out requests made through any other reasonable method, including by replying to one of our emails or contacting us using the details in Section 20. We will process your request promptly and in no event later than required by applicable law.
Email. If you provide your email address, you may receive program information, reminders, and marketing emails. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
Electronic records. You consent to receive communications, notices, agreements, and disclosures from us electronically, and you agree that electronic delivery satisfies any legal requirement that these be in writing.
8. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the CALRegional Privacy Policy, available at https://staging.calregional.com/privacy-policy/. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Acceptable Use
When using the Site, you agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including submitting another person’s contact information without their permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site, including through automated scraping, denial of service attempts, or the introduction of malicious code
- Copy, reproduce, or redistribute Site content except as permitted in Section 10
- Impersonate any person or organization, including CALRegional staff or partner school staff
- Harvest contact information from the Site for commercial purposes
We may suspend or block access to the Site for anyone who violates this section.
10. Intellectual Property
The Site and its contents, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, video, page design, and curriculum descriptions, are owned by CALRegional or its licensors and are protected by United States and international intellectual property law.
The CALRegional name and logo are our trademarks. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
You may view, download, and print Site content for your own personal, non-commercial use in evaluating our programs. Any other use, including reproduction, modification, distribution, or republication, requires our prior written permission.
11. Content You Submit
If you submit content to us, including reviews, testimonials, photographs, video, or comments, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display that content in connection with our programs and marketing.
You represent that you own or have the rights to any content you submit, and that it does not violate the rights of any third party.
We are not required to publish or keep publishing any content you submit, and we may remove it at any time.
12. Third Party Links and Services
The Site may link to third-party websites, including certification bodies, partner schools, payment processors, and scheduling tools.
We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability. A link is not an endorsement. Your use of a third-party site is governed by that site’s own terms and privacy policy.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Site is free of viruses or other harmful components.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CALREGIONAL AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR ACCESS TO THE SITE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and does not apply to claims arising under your enrollment agreement, which are governed by that agreement.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
15. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.
Informal resolution first. Before starting a formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at info@calregional.com with a written description of your claim and the relief you are seeking. We will do the same. Both parties agree to try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for 60 days from that notice.
Arbitration. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, as modified by these Terms. The AAA rules are available at www.adr.org. Arbitration will take place in Solano County, California, or at another location we agree on, or by videoconference or telephone at your election.
The arbitrator has exclusive authority to decide the merits of the dispute. Questions about whether this arbitration agreement is enforceable or applies to a particular claim are for a court to decide, not the arbitrator.
Class action waiver. YOU AND CALREGIONAL AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of class proceeding. If this class action waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim proceeds in court, and the rest of this Section 15 remains in effect for all other claims.
Small claims. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
Your right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to info@calregional.com or 4820 Business Center Drive, Suite 100, Fairfield, CA 94534 within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, address, and a clear statement that you are opting out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
Costs. Payment of filing, administration, and arbitrator fees will be governed by the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules and its consumer fee schedule, except that we will pay those fees where required by applicable law. You will not be required to pay our attorneys’ fees or costs if you do not prevail.
Mutual obligation. This arbitration agreement binds both you and CALRegional equally. If you are required to arbitrate a claim, we are required to arbitrate the same type of claim against you.
16. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
For any dispute not subject to arbitration under Section 15, you and CALRegional agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Solano County, California.
If you are a California resident, nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under California consumer protection law that cannot be waived by agreement.
17. Notice for California Users
Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, California users are entitled to this notice: The Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs may be contacted in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, which may include posting a notice on the Site or sending an email to the address you provided.
Continuing to use the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.
19. General Provisions
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions stay in full force.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and CALRegional regarding your use of the Site, and supersede any prior agreements on that subject. Your enrollment agreement, if you have one, remains a separate and controlling agreement as described in Section 3.
Survival. Sections 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 19 survive any termination of these Terms.
